VIEWCREST HEALTH CENTER Advisory Committee

In large centrally governed, multi-site not-for-profit organizations like St. Francis Health Services, the local advisory committee is a central link between the organization and the community, and between the organization and community leaders. The advisory committee serves to translate the community’s current realities (needs, resources, opportunities and threats) into the organization’s planning. It also translates the organization’s current realities — especially its need for support and resources — into positive responses on the part of the community.
